News - 2007 : Un millésime extra ordinaire
31/12/2099
Let me explain to you:
April looked like a stifling hot July. According to the usual rule of “100 days”, we should harvest before the end of August.
From May to August: Water, little heath, however much light.
In September, there comes the miracle as always in Burgundy: sun, northern wind which we call here “la bise”, freshness early September and then the heath came.
To elaborate great wines, you need matured and healthy grapes. Then, the only thing we had to do was to properly fight oïdium and mildiou and to wait.
Now, we have just finished the harvest. We probably were the last in Burgundy.
We have brought to our wineries, very matured grapes after dropping 30% of
un matured and rotten grapes.
Obviously, we were very stressed at the end of August but we are now very confident. We think that you should once again love our wines.
